GAP as focused training effort.

GAP will ensure that all DCs accomplish the PhD studies acquiring multi-disciplinary and transversal competencies in the core topic of bone fractures, through high-level academic guidance, complementary secondments and network cross-relationships. Additionally, a crucial relevance will be given to the personal and communal consciousness of the research impact on the social sphere: indeed, all DCs will have continuous feedback from social institutions dealing with the critical issue of “broken bones, broken lives”. The bone fractures-oriented advanced training is synergistically combined with DC’s ad hoc preparation on soft and transferable skills. This is specifically designed to make them trained for various professional roles, being highly competitive for versatile careers across academic, research or clinical sectors.
