Empa is a Swiss federal interdisciplinary research institute that conducts cutting-edge materials and technology research. The Architectured Materials group at the Laboratory for Mechanics of Materials and Nanostructures focuses on the design, synthesis, and multiscale analysis of architectured and hierarchical materials through combined experimental and modelling approaches.
