About DC8.

My name is Seyedeh Fahimeh Hosseini

Short Bio:

I am a skilled researcher with a strong background in biomechanics holding an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, where I focused on finite element analysis (FEA) and spinal biomechanics. My key projects include conducting FEA of bone mechanics, developing an active ortho-walker robot for spinal cord injury patients, optimizing orthopedic devices, and analyzing complex data from the ADNI (Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative) database, as well as serving as the R&D manager for a start-up focused on designing 3D-printed casts. These experiences have provided me with essential technical skills and problem-solving abilities, enabling me to contribute effectively to advancements in healthcare solutions and improve patient outcomes.

Expectations about GAP:

I am eager to refine my skills in biomedical applications through the GAP project, contributing to impactful research while aiming to establish a healthcare start-up that benefits people's lives.
